The early stages of an experimental performance shown December 1st, 2014 at The Electric Lodge’s monthly and un-curated exhibition, MAX 10. This piece is continually exploring the tangible and intangible connections between humans and our natural world. Inspired by the mysterious, invisible, yet instinctual connections that humans can have with one another; similar to the conversation between the earth and its moon.
Earth’s moon communicates with ocean tides through a gravitational “pull”.
Humans undeniably communicate with other humans non-verbally through telepathic feelings and energy.
Video footage resembling both lunar and tidal movements are projected in sync with the performance. Music is performed in a live imporv manner, communicating with the performers in real time.
